Munshi Shahnawaz Khan, who was abducted by armed Naxalites of CPI Maoist organization on Sunday night near Asurain bridge of Lutua police station area in Gaya district, has not been found even for the third day. Before this, incidents of ID blast have also happened several times during search operations.

Naxal Operations SP Mukesh Sewaria said that continuous search operations are being conducted at the hideouts of Naxalites for the safe recovery of Munshi Shahnawaz Khan. The police is making every effort to bring back the kidnapped youth as soon as possible. During this time, some suspicious boys have been picked up and are being interrogated.

A bridge is being constructed near Asurain in Lota police station area of ​​Banke Bazaar at a cost of about Rs 2 crore. Naxalites have demanded Rs 30 lakh as extortion money from the contractor of the original construction company. Late Sunday evening, around three armed Naxalites had abducted two laborers including Munshi Shahnawaz Khan. Later the workers were beaten and left in the forest. However, the Naxalites took Munshi Shahnawaz with them. According to sources, the Naxalite squad also included Naxalite Vivek Yadav, who had a reward of Rs 3 lakh and ransom has been demanded from him.
